PRONGS Pattern Release

PRONGS is here! Snag the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry!

Thank you SO much for your support and enthusiasm for this pattern! I fell madly in love with sock knitting this year, and knew I had to start creating my own designs.

Allison Barnes was kind enough to support this design with her gorgeous hand dyed yarn! Collaborating with another maker – and an Alberta maker at that – was such an amazing experience. Her sock yarn is dyed on a wonderful 80/20 merino and nylon blend. It stood up wonderfully being knit, frogged, washed, and worn! I highly recommend grabbing a skein (or two or 10) of her yarn! The pattern sample was knit in the Prairie Frost colourway, but I started working one up in Whisper, and it’s gorgeous so far!

I’ve always loved knitting antler cables, and I couldn’t help but channel my inner Harry Potter geek a bit when naming this one. 10 points to Gryffindor if you get the reference!

I hope you guys love this design as much as I do. Thank you so much to my incredible testers who helped me ensure that the pattern was functional, and technically correct. I couldn’t have done it without you guys!

If you do decide to knit up some PRONGS socks, please tag me on instagram (@woolfield.studio or #prongssocks), create ravelry projects, or share your FOs with me! I absolutely love seeing the beautiful work you make with my patterns!

Ready to start knitting? Check out the pattern on etsy or ravelry!
